Overview

SonoMP hosts user-submitted links and metadata for AI-generated music. We do not claim ownership of third-party recordings. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice and we will review it promptly.

Submitting a false or bad-faith notice may expose you to liability. Only the copyright owner or an authorized agent should file a takedown request.

Report copyright infringement

To request removal of infringing material, email our designated DMCA agent at dwknewnumber@gmail.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown Notice" and include all of the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable in email)
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved
  • The specific URL(s) on SonoMP where the allegedly infringing material appears (for example, a track page link)
  • Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf

You can also use our contact page for general copyright questions, but takedown requests should go directly to dwknewnumber@gmail.com so they can be processed quickly.

What happens after you report

When we receive a complete and valid DMCA notice, we typically:

  1. Review the notice for required elements
  2. Remove or disable access to the identified material on the Service
  3. Notify the user who submitted the content, when applicable, and provide information about counter-notification rights
  4. Terminate repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, consistent with our Terms of Service

We aim to act on valid notices without undue delay. Incomplete notices may require additional information before we can take action.

Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to dwknewnumber@gmail.com including:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, phone number, and email address
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the U.S., any jurisdiction where the Service provider may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice

After receiving a valid counter-notification, we may restore the material unless the original complainant files a court action within the time period required by law.

Embedded and third-party content

Some tracks play through official third-party players (for example, the YouTube IFrame player). SonoMP does not download or re-host those audio streams. If your concern relates to content hosted on another platform, you may also need to contact that platform directly. We can still remove catalog listings and links on our Service when we receive a valid notice.
