Terms of Service

By accessing or using SonoMP (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.

SonoMP provides music charts, discovery, search, streaming, and community features related to AI-generated music. Content may come from user submissions, licensed providers, and third-party platforms such as YouTube.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without liability. Features labeled as beta, preview, or "coming soon" may change or be removed.

When you submit tracks, comments, ratings, or other content ("User Content"), you represent that:

• You have the right to submit the content and to grant the licenses below
• Your submission does not infringe third-party rights
• Your content complies with these Terms and applicable law

When you submit tracks, you must check both attestation boxes on the submission form. By doing so, you explicitly represent that you own, or have obtained, all commercial and distribution rights to that specific AI-generated work, including confirmation that Suno or Udio tracks were not created on a free tier unless you otherwise hold distribution rights.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting content, you grant SonoMP a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content solely to operate and promote the Service (for example, on charts, artist pages, and RSS feeds).

We may remove or refuse content that violates these Terms, receives valid takedown notices under our DMCA Copyright Policy, or is otherwise objectionable at our discretion.

SonoMP catalogs AI-generated music from third-party tools such as Suno, Udio, Mubert, and YouTube. Copyright and commercial-use rights depend on the platform, subscription tier, and who created the track—not every AI generation can legally be listed on a public chart or discovery site.

Suno and Udio

• Free-tier accounts: Under these platforms' terms, the platform typically retains ownership of free-tier generations, and those tracks are not licensed for commercial use or redistribution.
• Paid plans (Pro, Premier, or equivalent): Generations you create on a qualifying paid subscription are generally owned by you, subject to each platform's current terms of service.
• Do not submit Suno or Udio tracks you created on a free tier, or tracks created by others, unless you have explicit permission to catalog them here.

Mubert

• Tracks surfaced through our official Mubert API integration are subject to Mubert's license terms for this Service.
• If you manually submit a Mubert link, you must still confirm that you hold the rights to list and share it on SonoMP.

Your responsibility

• We do not independently verify your Suno, Udio, or other platform subscription tier before publishing a submission.
• You must check both attestations on the submission form before importing content.
• False or misleading attestations may result in content removal, account termination, and liability under our indemnification section.
• We may remove tracks that appear to violate platform terms or that are subject to valid complaints under our DMCA Copyright Policy.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate others
• Post spam, malware, or content that is hateful, sexually explicit, or violent
• Manipulate charts, play counts, or ratings through bots or artificial means
• Scrape, crawl, or reverse engineer the Service except as allowed by law
• Circumvent security, access controls, or rate limits
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
• Submit Suno, Udio, or similar free-tier generations you do not own or cannot redistribute
• Catalog tracks without verifying the creator's platform tier or distribution rights

We may investigate violations and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate.

The Service, including its design, branding, charts methodology, and original code, is owned by SonoMP or its licensors and protected by applicable laws.

Third-party music, artwork, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. Embedded or linked content is subject to the terms of the original platform (e.g., YouTube, Mubert). Do not use the Service to distribute content you do not have rights to share.

The Service may link to or embed third-party websites and players. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accurate chart rankings, or the availability of any particular track or provider. AI-generated music may be experimental; listen at your own discretion.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SONOMP AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SonoMP and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Sections that by nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.

We respond to valid copyright complaints under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, see our DMCA Copyright Policy to file a takedown notice.

YouTube and other embedded content is played through each platform's official player. We do not strip or re-host third-party audio streams outside those official playback mechanisms.
